fino provides sales impulses for banks and financial service providers

Kassel. With the Insights Pilot from fino, banks, financial service providers and insurance companies can now meet their customers’ expectations even better. This is because this new service from the fintech company fino analyzes which financial and insurance products customers are already using and provides suitable supplements or points out the need for them. In addition, the Insights Pilot uses account analysis to point out significant life changes, for which advisors can proactively contact their customers with specific recommendations for action. The unique visualization of customer details and behavior, right down to risk assessment, provides financial service providers with a basis for increased sales and targeted customer management. Thus, the Insights Pilot improves customer experience and provides additional sales impulses.

After customer consent, fino’s out-of-the-box service reads account transactions via highly secure PSD2 interfaces and then analyzes them in real time, depending on the use case. Financial advisors get a holistic view of their customers within seconds on the clear dashboard. Questions about consumer willingness, risk affinity and creditworthiness can thus be answered easily. At the same time, the system determines the customer’s current needs and submits suitable offers.

Leverage onboarding and life-changing moments for new deals

“Our Insights Pilot provides financial service providers with immediate added value, and especially when they acquire new customers,” says Florian Christ, CEO and founder of fino. “The integrated dashboard shows opportunities to place their own products even though the customer and his habits are still unknown. This enables advisors to do justice to their task immediately during the first contact and to set accents directly during onboarding.” According to fino’s experience, customers are particularly inclined to conclude new contracts in the first nine days after switching accounts. For example, a loan from another institution could be replaced by one of the company’s own with more favorable terms.

Insights Pilot also helps to make more frequent contact with existing customers and to generate additional sales momentum, for example when the customer gets married or starts a family. The advisor can take advantage of this changed situation and offer suitable financial products, such as life insurance or a savings fund.

fino provides its Insights Pilot in different formats: It can be accessed as a web-based dashboard or integrated into the existing infrastructure via an interface. Alternatively, banks, financial service providers and insurance companies can receive the results of the analysis as a PDF file by e-mail. The product is thus immediately ready for use. Financial service providers also do not need their own PSD2 licensing, but are fully protected from a regulatory point of view via fino. “This is because we are supervised by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, BaFin,” concludes Florian Christ.
